When are your services?
Sundays at 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. at the Regal / Great Escape Movie Theater at exit one. Or you can watch LIVE by clicking HERE
What will the Experience be like?
The service experiences at oneChurch include worship music and a message. We'll also throw in some media and lights just to keep things interesting. The music is led by a worship leader along with a live band featuring today's music. The message is always focused on addressing the real issues that real people face in their daily lives. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by one of our teaching pastors. The Sunday service lasts for approximately 65 minutes. You will find a friendly environment where everyone is welcomed.
When Should I get there?
Plan on arriving to the campus at least 15 minutes before the service starts. That will give you time to park and check your kids in to their enviornments. Then you'll want to make sure you get into theater 16 before the music starts. We'll give you a heads up when we're about to begin.
What should I wear?
Don't worry about wearing “your Sunday best” to oneChurch. We dress very casually around here. Leave that tie at home. Very likely the teaching pastor will be wearing blue jeans. In fact, when the weather warms up, don't be surprised to see lots of people in shorts!
What about my kids?
In our Onederland (preschool), One Way Street (K-3rd grade), and our OneUp (4th-5th grade) environments, your child will experience age-appropriate teaching, music and fun activities designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey to follow Jesus Christ. Our children’s environments are led by competent staff and volunteers who all have had background checks and will be there each week to care for and love on your child. We utilize a computer check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents.
And for teenagers, our insideOut Student Ministry that happens on Wednesday nights are geared just for them. Meeting at the oneChurch.tv offices located at 2111 Trenton Road, they have fun worshipping God and hearing authentic teaching from our Student Pastors.
What denomination is this?
oneChurch.tv is interdenominational. Our beliefs are shared by many different Christian denominations, and we welcome everyone. It’s like one big pool party, with Baptists and Methodists and Catholics and Presbyterians all doing cannonballs together.
I absolutely do not believe in God. Am I still welcome?
Yes, you absolutely are welcome. We do expect that you’ll be open to exploring your questions about God and wrestling with what you find. And we do expect you to believe we’re funny. Or at least fake it.
Who funds this place?
Let’s be clear on who is NOT funding this place: there are no corporate sponsors or franchise affiliations, and there’s no phantom fat cat paying for the building. It’s the generosity of everyday people in our community that fuels the life change we experience around here. Our support comes from the normal tithes (10 percent of earnings) and offerings of average folks who love contributing to the kinds of things they see God doing in our midst.
Are all the people working on the weekend, on staff?
Nope. Believe it or not, from the coffee you drink to the mail you get, 94.6% of the oneChurch.tv stuff you encounter results from volunteers. Volunteers care for our kids, take out the trash and sing on main stage.
This doesn’t look like a church.
First of all, that’s not even a question. How about this: “What’s a church supposed to look like?” We think a church is about the people inside—not about the building—so it shouldn’t matter if we meet in a movie theater. And while you might not find steeples or stained glass around here, there’s no shortage of really authentic people—and free coffee.
