The Cost

When it comes to following Jesus, the shallow end is safe and it's well-populated and it's easy, but in the depths, you will quickly find out it can be unpopular and difficult and risky and downright inconvenient. Is it worth it? It's easy to say “Yes” when following Jesus involves showing up on a Sunday morning or even opening up your Bible app in the privacy of your own home. That may cost you some time, but it’s relatively easy. However, what if following Jesus was about more than just giving up time on a Sunday? What if following Jesus costs more than we are willing to pay?
